Relaxing infusion of cinnamon, bay leaf and chamomile for stress and insomnia

How to prepare the infusion

  1. You will need two cinnamon sticks, four bay leaves, a small handful of chamomile, half a liter of water, and honey if you like a sweeter taste.
  2. Place all the herbs into a saucepan. Pour in the water. Bring it to a gentle boil and let it simmer for about fifteen minutes. This allows the plants to release their beneficial compounds. Strain the liquid into a cup. Add a little honey if desired.
  3. Drink one cup about thirty minutes before bedtime. Many people find it helps ease mental tension, reduce body aches, and promote deeper sleep.
