When my father-in-law suggested that I take a weekend at a spa, I was completely caught off guard. The offer felt unusually generous, even thoughtful, and I couldn’t quite understand why he was so insistent. At first, I resisted. I had responsibilities, a household to run, and obligations that couldn’t simply be put on hold. But he continued to encourage me, gently yet firmly, insisting that some time away would do me good.
