How to Use Vicks VapoRub to Eliminate Different Types of Pests
1. Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes detest the strong scent of menthol and eucalyptus.
Trick:
- Apply a little Vicks to windows, door frames, and nightstands.
- You can also place the open jar near the bed to prevent bites during the night.
Bonus Tip: To enhance the effect, rub a small amount on ankles, wrists, and neck (only if you’re not allergic).
2. Ants

- Change them every 4 to 5 days to maintain the effect.
6. Cockroaches
Cockroaches also avoid the smell of this ointment.
Trick:
- Apply Vicks to key areas such as the back of the refrigerator, under the sink, or in the corners of the kitchen.
