Orange Peels + Salt: A Powerful Homemade Dish Soap

 

You’ll need:

  • 1 liter water

  • Orange peels (from 2–3 oranges)

  • 2 tablespoons salt

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

  • 500 ml liquid Castile or eco-friendly dish soap

  • 150 ml white vinegar

  • Steps:

    1. In a pot, combine water, orange peels, salt, and baking soda.

    2. Heat on the stove until the water turns orange (about 10–15 minutes).

    3. Remove from heat and strain into a bowl.

    4. Stir in the dish soap and vinegar.

    5. Pour into bottles—you’ll get about 1.5 liters of cleaner.
