Bisquick Sausage Breakfast Muffins

 

Ingredients
1 lb breakfast sausage

4 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup Bisquick baking mix

Optional additions:

Chopped green onions

Diced bell peppers

A pinch of black pepper or paprika

1. Cook the Sausage
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until well browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat and allow it to cool slightly.

2. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with paper liners.

3. Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, shredded cheese, and Bisquick until smooth and well combined.

4. Add the Sausage
Gently fold the cooked sausage into the batter until evenly distributed.

5. Fill the Muffin Tin
