If your veins are visible, here’s what it means

  1. A low body fat percentage

When the layer of fat under the skin decreases, the veins naturally become more visible.

This is often the case in very thin people or those who have recently lost weight.

  1. Physical activity

During exercise, blood flow increases in order to supply the muscles.

The veins can then dilate and appear more prominent. In people who exercise regularly, this effect can become more lasting.

  1. The heat

In hot weather, blood vessels dilate to help the body regulate its temperature.

As a result, veins may become more visible, especially in the hands and feet.
