Kasia’s life changed dramatically when her dad decided to go abroad in search of a job due to financial problems and lack of prospects in Poland. She was only two years old at the time. In his absence, Kasia, her mom and younger sister, tried to lead a quiet life, financially supported by her dad. Unfortunately, his lack of emotional presence was very painful, and everything became even more difficult when Kasia's mom became seriously ill. After a long and painful battle with the disease, the mother died, and the responsibility for the care of her younger sister fell on Kasia's shoulders.

Even when she continued her studies at the university, Kasia had virtually no time for herself. Each day fulfilled her duties related to her studies and care for her sister. She was very touched by the fact that her dad did not return to her mother's funeral; she treated it as a betrayal and this wound did not heal for a long time, deepening her grief for her father.
