1. Capturing Photos and Videos Without Touching the Screen

The volume buttons double as a physical shutter button for your camera. Pressing either volume key allows you to take photos in multiple camera modes, including standard, portrait, and panoramic shots. This same functionality extends to video recording as well—press once to begin filming and press again to stop. On newer iPhone models, holding down the volume up button activates burst mode, making it easy to capture fast-moving moments with precision.
