Semi-succulent plant with the botanical name Sansevieria trifasciata , better known as mother-in-law’s tongue . It belongs to the asparagus family (Asparagaceae ) and is native to the African continent.
Why does it have such a special name? Because of its pointed leaves , which metaphorically recall the “accent tongues” of mothers-in-law. Perfect for planting in gardens, it also grows well indoors . Just pay attention to its height, which can exceed 90 centimeters!

The leaves are few, short, pointed and green (light or dark) with yellow or grey edges.
