How to Rescue a Heavily Burnt Pot: Magic Cleaning Hacks

Instructions
Melt Chocolate & Butter: Use a double boiler or a microwave (in 30-second bursts) to melt the chocolate and butter together until smooth.

Whisk Eggs & Sugar: In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture is slightly pale and frothy.

Combine: Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

Fold in Flour: Sift the flour and salt into the batter. Fold it in gently with a spatula—don’t overmix!

Bake: Pour the batter into greased ramekins. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for only 10–12 minutes. The edges should be firm, but the center should still be soft and “lava-like.”

⚠️ Cleaning Tip
If that photo is actually your burnt pot, don’t throw it away!

Fill the pot with water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

The burnt “crust” should lift right off with a wooden spoon.
