Doctors reveal that guava leaf tea causes…
Many are already including it in their daily routine to take advantage of all these benefits and feel a real change from within.
Preparing this powerful infusion at home is an extremely easy, quick, and inexpensive process.
Integrating this wonderful habit into your daily life could be the positive boost your body needs to feel more vital.
Step 1: Choose fresh or dried guava leaves
If you have access to a guava tree, pick young, clean leaves that are free from pesticides. If not, dried guava leaves from a trusted source work just as well. Always rinse fresh leaves thoroughly under running water.
Step 2: Boil the water
Bring about 2 cups (500 ml) of water to a boil in a small pot. Using filtered water is recommended to keep the infusion pure and free from unwanted chemicals.
Step 3: Add the leaves
Once the water is boiling, add a handful of fresh leaves (about 5–7) or 1 tablespoon of dried leaves. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes. This allows the beneficial compounds to be fully released into the water.
Step 4: Let it steep
Turn off the heat and let the tea sit for another 5 minutes. This step enhances both the flavor and the concentration of nutrients.
Step 5: Strain and serve
Strain the liquid into a cup, removing all the leaves. You can enjoy it warm or let it cool slightly depending on your preference.
Step 6: Optional additions
For a more pleasant taste, you can add a little honey, lemon, or a slice of ginger. These additions not only improve flavor but may also enhance the tea’s soothing effects.
