And honestly… I believed him.
When I got home, everything felt normal.
I dropped my bag, went to my room, and looked at myself in the mirror. There it was—a small mark on my neck. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
It didn’t hurt.
It didn’t feel dangerous.
It felt like nothing.
A few minutes later… something changed.
My head started to feel strange. Not pain exactly… just pressure. My vision blurred for a second, like the room was spinning.
I remember thinking: Maybe I’m just tired.
But then my body felt heavy.
Too heavy.
I tried to call out to my mom…
But the words wouldn’t come out.
My legs gave up first. Then everything else followed.
I hit the floor.
After that… everything went quiet.
I could hear voices, far away. Someone shouting my name. Panic. Footsteps. Hands trying to wake me up.
