4. Unusual lumps or swelling
A new lump under the skin, in the breast, neck, groin, or armpit, may be one of the first symptoms of abnormal cell growth. For persistent lumps, always consult a doctor.
5. Skin changes
Your skin can reflect what’s happening inside your body. Pay attention to:
Darkening, yellowing, or redness of the skin
Wounds that don’t heal
In new or modified
These may be linked to skin cancer or internal tumors.
6. Persistent cough or hoarseness
A cough that lasts more than three weeks, especially one with blood, could indicate lung or throat cancer. Hoarseness that doesn’t improve can also be a warning sign.
